The Scumbagnetic Effect (2013)

During a routine expert in Ireland, Dr. Lederhosen makes a startling discovery. When “Subject A”, Scumbag O Brien, comes into proximity with people, an unusual phenomenon occurs. As he explains the phenomenon to his colleague Frau Stroodle, Dr Lederhosen seems to believe he has discovered the essence of being a scumbag, calling it the Scumbagnetic Effect. But has he?

Part satire, part social commentary, The Scumbagnetic Effect looks at the nature of bad behaviour in Irish society, from ASBO culture, to the bankers, with an irreverent edge, and an eclectic cast of characters. The film is a surreal offshoot of Junior B, an animated sitcom Gobstar Film also has in development.
